Malaysia mulls Internet laws against bloggers: report

Malaysia may introduce tough Internet laws to control bloggers and prevent them from spreading "disharmony, chaos, seditious material and lies" on their websites, a report has said.

Deputy Science and Technology Minister Kong Cho Ha said moves such as registering bloggers would be difficult, but accused some writers of posting controversial articles to attract readers.

"We are talking about creating cyber laws to control those who misuse the Internet," Kong was quoted as saying in the Star newspaper.

"We need to have stricter cyber laws to prevent these bloggers from disseminating disharmony, chaos, seditious material and lies," he said.

Kong cited the posting of a photo on an opposition politician's website last month of a Muslim male and Muslim female lawmaker, reportedly showing the man in a bathrobe with the woman lying on his chest, in what appeared to be a hotel room.

The photo sparked a political scandal, since the two were not married, with accusations the pair had committed the Muslim sin of khalwat, or close proximity, when two unmarried people of the opposite sex are alone in each other's company.

"We want our bloggers to be responsible, to keep within the rules and not put up seditious articles that can create disharmony and chaos," said Kong.

Malaysian news websites and blogs are well known for providing alternate views to mainstream news coverage.

Today's KM Topic : Presentation = War

I just had my final presentation this afternoon regarding a marketing proposal for Victorinox 2007 (which is just a college assignment, not real) and the situation is all tensed up even before the lecturer walked in; some are nervous, some are unprepared, some just don't give a fstarck. But for me I'm just calm and willing to present anything, rehearsed in my mind like I always do before taking the spotlight. If this presentation fails, my team can forget about attenting the exam. And our group was the first group to go, and I'm the first one to start. Talk about being number one.

After presenting, students are allowed to ask questions and we are to answer them (extra marks may be provided for asking and answering correctly), the students asking the questions are like they are shooting you at point blank, then we must find the correct bullet to fire it back at them, once we're both hit it's a draw. Next. There's stupid questions, such as "What do you mean franchise, does Victorinox opens an office in that country that belongs to them or do they sell them? You know it's a different thing." I can hear Steph whisper "Please tell him to fstarck off." then rolled her eyes cause our turn has almost reached time limit and other teams are anxious to get over with it. I was holding back my laughter as I was still in the battlefield. There is also "How did you know that's Victorinox tagline?" "Oh we found it on the their website." "You sure?" "Yes we're sure." "Are you sure sure?" "Yes we are sure." "You really sure?" Turns out the person that asked that, her team's tagline was wrong.

After us then it's our turn to blast back at the rest. We asked appropriate questions of course. Team! Load up and start shooting!

Saturday-

A weekend with no pictures.. how sad.. anyway..

I had lunch with Laura in B Sentral in Brickfields. Gave the worker there a good vocal slap, I ask if there's Indomee and that dude said yes but gave me Mee Goreng. It felt good. No more B Sentral yam cha sessions for me anymore.

My monitor's adaptor fried, so I have to get to Low Yat to replace it with RM 125, and it's already considered cheap, according to the sellers, usual price is RM 280. What crap, gave my heart a stab, remember I worked 2 days for RM 120? No? Then read back my previous posts dumbass, I worked my ass off to repair my pc, and I had to chip in another 5! The first shop I visited, the worker attendent to me gave me a bad impression by giving out a loud sigh after taking the wrong adaptor, expressing that he wasn't happy doing business and from that moment I told myself even if this place sells cheaper, I'd rather buy from somewhere with proper service, I'd rather pay more.

Steamboat for dinner at Yun Nan is the bomb! Yam cha at Daslima is the bomb bomb! Well that's about it.. no pictures = no fun dammit oh well off to study for exams, now I'm collecting info on rempits don't worry ekekeeke it will be fun I promise.

We parked in Ikano and on the way to the escalator..

It's been a week since I've came down from that hill.. I've been caught up in plenty of shits during the weekdays.. it's time to share now..

We went up in the morning.. early morning, about an hour drive from KL Sentral and reach about noon and settled down. While they're cooking...

And discussing things...

I crashed, hey, it's not time to wake yet. Not MY time to wake yet.

After filling up my stomach and enough rest, we head out to the playground woohoo! We sat and chat.. I don't think you'd want to see boring pics of flowers and grass and shit which John took so here's the highlight:

After the sun went down, we went up, to Gentings Resort by cable car.

That place should be renamed, camwhoreland with additional fake dinosaurs.

There are rumors going on that Gentings had a legendary hidden mamak which sells food at the normal rate. THIS is what Genting's price rate for a Genting unhidden mamak.

So we search high and low, till we gave up for a moment, but the stubbornness of our heads and hearts declined, John phoned up his buddy and we had the instructions of the route - hidden mamak here we come! The location of the mamak is too secluded, only the ones who has been there before will know. I cannot pinpoint the exact location for you but here's a clue.

This trip is the best trip I've been to since God knows when. Although things may seem funny and happy all the way, but there's also unfortunate events such as transportation and social problems, we all try to make the best out of it and we did, I love you my friends. And just for the record, nothing happened on that balcony.

I was at Laura's place and her cat, Peru, was lazing around so I thought I'll go play with her. But Peru is hostile to outsiders, during my attempt to befriend her, she left a small mark as a "Don't put your smelly hands on me."

Being my stubborn self, I decided to try again. This time, she strectched out to claw, a loud scratch sound came and a deeper wound onto my finger.

The top one didn't stop bleeding till I put a plaster, this picture was taken a day after the incident if not, you could have seen blood, more blood.

If I would've killed her, I won't be able to walk through that door anymore.. so I'll seethe my grudge for a revenge.. or I could just forget it after Laura buys me dinner. And if you think I'm crazy, what can I say? I love pussies.

Two days ago, I attended a casual private party.. coz Dennis dragged me over.

Don't think I'd spend a weekend without having something to put here! Wahahaha I'm here to show you my sunday; this time WITH PICS, aplenty!

It started out when I had to get some pictures of a shoplot in 1 Utama, a huge ass shopping complex. So I called up Dennis and John to tag along.

Along the way, we pass by Mid Valley, another huge ass shopping complex, was the biggest till 1U took over the title.

Here at last.

We'd thought since Celebrity Fitness is up there... maybe we could try to upskirt them while they're on the treads.

And after I did what I had to do, we decided to sneak up on a friend of mine whose working in Secret Recipe to take some candid pictures of him. But instead, his colleagues saw us and puts on a happy face for a shot.

And as we were walking... we saw this guy walked past Long John Silver's... he looked at us as if he has spotted his prey. (Eyes has been censored cuz he might be a criminal)

He gave us a smile that chills down our spine. He checks for the coast till it's clear and then..

Little do we know, the most unexpected event happened.

Yep! He did it! John with his thumbs down! Oops did I just mentioned his name? Owh well, not like anyones gonna recognize you with your eyes censored.

After coming out from the car park, we heard sirens.. see for yourself.

After all that, we went to a mamak stall opposite Dennis's place, and I parked next to a car that is distictively appealing.

In a late thursday class, yes I'm still studying and I haven't dropped out. As I walk towards two of my guy friends, they were sending an sms to another person in class who is also a guy, we were sitting a few seats away from him, towards his back, it goes something like this:

"Hey why didn't you reply earlier, I miss you, you know. Have u eaten yet, what are you doing."

I quickly got the idea that they're trying to trick this guy to think it's his gf/ crush/ bitch, I don't know. They were just trying but ironically he replied:

"Yes honey, I've ate, how are u darling I'm fine. I'm in class."

He was dumb enough to reply to an unknown number with such emo messages. We were laughing so badly, I almost rofl-ed. We replied:

"FUCK YOU BITCH!"

He hid his face from everyone by tucking his head between his folded arm after that. He was like oh fuck... Man he got banged bad. We planned to wave and smile at him when he turns to look at us but he didn't have the balls to. This proves that girls always use the same lines.
